Mendmeshop (our online shop) has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access and alteration of the information under our control.

The next level of security is when you pay for goods by credit card you move to the secure American server operated by Authorize.net (a well known and very secure transaction gateway) who collect the credit card payments for MendMeShop.
We keep no credit card data on file, which is an extra level of security that prevents your data from being compromised at any time in the future, as it just no longer exists after your transaction.
What Security does MendMeShop use?
We use SSL security and have a certificate provided by Thawte - a well known internet security trust issuing company. Using 128-bit SSL encoding means that sensitive data cannot be interfered with by unauthorised parties, so data that you enter is safe.

When shopping at Mendmeshop, or anywhere else on the web, you can verify that you are entering personal information into a secure form by looking for the prefix https:// in the address bar (note the "s", for secure).
On other browsers it may look different, but generally a closed padlock icon is used.
Choosing a Personal Password
When you create an online account on the Mendmeshop web site, you need to select a personal password that you will remember. It must be at least 6 characters. To maximize your level of protection, you should choose a combination of both letters and numbers.
